About Eco-Art Camps
8:30 am-3:00 pm
These full-day camps combine nature, creativity and art. Connolly Ranch provides a setting that engages all their senses and inspires kids’ imagination. This program has many of the same components as Life on the Farm Camp (caring for farm animals, tending to the organic gardens), but with an emphasis on the creative process of enjoying the arts in a natural setting – from music and storytelling to watercolors and nature-based crafts.
July 24-28: Handmade from Nature
Take inspiration from natural surroundings in this hands-on exploration of art and nature. Watercolors, jewelry-making, wool spinning, weaving, natural dyes and making edible art fill each day with creativity and wonder.
August 7-11: Active Imaginations
Nature serves as a stage for the arts, and this week is for those who are equally artistic and active. Campers may build instruments, write songs, make puppets or tell stories that move and activate both body and mind.
