Board of Directors
Connolly Ranch Education Center relies on the wisdom and support of its board of directors to ensure it can sustainably support its mission now and in the future. To all these individuals, we greatly appreciate their numerous contributions.
Ann Danielson - Board Chair
Ann is the Chief Beauty Ambassador for Benefit Cosmetics. Ann has spent the past 15 years working in sales, internal brand communications, and launched the brands Global Philanthropy Project: Bold Is Beautiful. Today this project has raised and donated over 25 million dollars globally. Ann spends most of her days with her two young sons exploring the world of nature seeing first-hand the impact it can have on developing minds. When she and her family were first introduced to Connolly Ranch it was love at first sight. Ann joined the board in 2021 working on fundraising and building the Connolly Ranch communications. Today she is Board Chair and is committed to improving and promoting the impact and access to the natural world and its effects it has on children of all ages.
Craig Finster - Past Board Chair Emeritus
Craig has been a member of the Board of Directors at Connolly Ranch since 2019. He currently serves as the President and Chief Financial Officer for Versus Systems, Inc., a marketing technology company headquartered in Los Angeles.
Over the course of his career, Craig has worked with a variety of high growth companies as both an executive and advisor. Craig grew up on an almond orchard in California’s central valley and is a firm believer in the value of getting outside. He received his bachelor’s degrees in economics and finance from the University of Arizona and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Kris Cosca
Kris has dedicated his career to public schools for 30+ years as a teacher, administrator and now consultant. Most recently, he served as superintendent of Novato Unified. Kris has experienced the joys and the challenges at every level – from the classroom to the board room. He navigated curriculum changes, enrollment challenges, pandemic restrictions, labor negotiations, staff burnout, and much more. Kris now serves as the Vice President, Education for Target River, a full services marketing agency. Additionally, Kris founded Next Level Leadership Services where he serves as a leadership and career coach.
Kris is dedicated to his Napa Valley community, supports environmentally-friendly acts of kindness through his Facebook Group, Earth's Everyday Heroes and is an avid outdoorsman who fly fishes, ties flies, backpacks, hikes, runs ultra-marathons, and cycles.
Katharine (Trina) H. Falace
Trina is an attorney with Buchalter, a firm consistently ranked among the leading law firms nationally. At Buchalter, Trina regularly handles matters in the areas of business, real estate and land use, representing various wineries and vineyard managers.
She is a member of The Richard M. Sangster American Inn of Court, an organization that seeks to inspire the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education and mentoring. Trina is passionate about the Napa community and committed to Connolly Ranch’s mission of encouraging the next generation of environmental stewards. In her free time, Trina enjoys traveling with her family.
Arthur Roosa
Arthur Roosa is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of SyMed Corporation. SyMed specializes in medical revenue cycle management for physicians, outpatient clinics and optometrists in addition to software development for medical transportation and other RCM companies. He has created and guided the development of medical billing services that annually manage over $100 million in claims. He is responsible for the strategic planning and growth of the company, along with overseeing software development and client relations.
Mr. Roosa’s community involvement includes having served as the chair of the City of Napa’s Community Development Block Grant committee, as a member of the City of Napa Planning Commission for nine years and as its chair for two, as a board member of the Rotary Club of Napa, and currently as a board member of OLE Health. He additionally served as a student mentor at Napa’s nationally recognized New Technology High School.
Becky Barlow
Rebecca (Becky) oversees California Winegrower Foundation, dba Ag Health Benefits Alliance, a nonprofit organization supporting local agricultural employers with their employee benefits needs.
In addition to her role as Executive Director, Becky is President of AHBA’s Educational Foundation which offers academic and vocational scholarships to eligible employees and their family members. Becky is a former board chair for the Community Health Initiative and the Napa Coalition of Non-Profit Organizations. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Agricultural Personnel Management Association (APMA) and as a volunteer committee member for AgSafe.
Becky and Lee, her husband of 35 years, live in Napa and spend as much time as possible with their adult children and their families, including two young granddaughters.
Chelsea Kohler
Chelsea Kohler is the Senior Vice President of Brand, Communications and Public Affairs at The Pill Club, a digital women’s healthcare company. She's a seasoned PR, policy and operations leader who has developed and executed strategic campaigns for some of the world’s best-known brands (Uber, Facebook, Google and YouTube) and reproductive rights champions (Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton). She is a member of the Planned Parenthood Federal PAC Committee and lives in San Francisco with her husband, daughter and boisterous dog.
Jennifer Berry Wang
Jennifer is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, and praticing since 2017. She received her master’s in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California after completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Southern California as a dean scholar. Prior to completing her licensing requirements, she worked in private practice internships under the supervision of Dr. Valerie Shrer, Ph.D. at Paths to Wellness and at Mindfulness Centered Healing (Dr. Peter Newsom, M.D.), in Menlo Park, CA. She completed my traineeship for Marriage and Family Therapy at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland (2013-2014) where she provided trauma-based counseling services to children and families in clinic and school-based settings.
