In English & Spanish - Indoors with Nature: Window Bingo
Did you know that even on days when we can't go outside, there are still magical moments happening in nature right outside our door? Perhaps there is a bird’s nest in a nearby tree or crunchy leaves on the ground. In this Window Bingo activity, you will get a chance to sit back and relax from the comfort of your home while playing an interactive game of eye-spy!
Opening Questions:
Picture the largest plan you might see outside your window - what does it look like?
Do you notice any bugs passing by your window? Where are coming from? Where are they going?
Can you show with your body how a squirrel searches for food?
Here’s What You'll Need:
One Window Bingo card.
Coloring pencils, crayons, or markers.
Optional: binoculars.
Instructions:
Start by printing out a Window Bingo card and finding the perfect window in your home to observe the nature outside. Get comfortable, and ask the opening questions to get ready for the activity. Take a look outside and with every item found, draw what you have spotted in the corresponding Bingo pictures . Take note of which moments bring the most curiosity, and consider further research into that plant or animal. Feel free to switch to other windows around your house to see what else you can find outside!

Lápices de colores, crayolas o marcadores.

Instrucciones:
Comienza imprimiendo una tarjeta de Bingo de ventana y encuentra la ventana perfecta en tu hogar para observar la naturaleza afuera. Pónte cómodo y haz las preguntas iniciales para prepararte para la actividad. Echa un vistazo afuera y con cada elemento que encuentres, dibuja lo que hayas visto en las imágenes de Bingo correspondientes. Toma nota de los momentos que traen más curiosidad y considera la posibilidad de investigar más sobre esa planta o animal. ¡No dudes en cambiar a otras ventanas de tu casa para ver qué más puedes encontrar afuera!
