Summer Internship Program

Connolly Ranch’s Summer Internship Program for high school students (ages 16-18) fosters the next generation of environmental stewards and thoughtful nonprofit leaders. As a participant in this program you will gain:

  • Training and experience working on a farm at an outdoor educational non-profit

  • Hand-on education in sustainable farming and animal husbandry

  • Professional Development - presenting to Connolly Ranch campers and counselors on different aspects of farming and working with fellow interns to create and enact solutions to farm-based issues that come up throughout the season

  • Seasonal Stipend

Interns will be working alongside the Farm and Facilities Coordinators and on their own. Chores and responsibilities will include planting, weeding, harvesting, mucking stalls, feeding, special facilities improvement projects, trail maintenance, and general day-to-day farming.

2022 Internship Program Dates

Summer: Starting Tuesday, June 21st, 2022

  • Minimum 4 week commitment

  • Tuesday- Thursday

  • 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
